Introduction to corporate yacht charters

A corporate yacht charter day will be tailored to suit your needs allowing you and your guests to sit back and enjoy a days sail in the Solent or the West Country, depending on where is most convenient or closest for you.

We also provide yachts for Cowes Week Corporate Hospitality.

A corporate yacht charter sailing day would usually start at about 09:30 with a run through of all aspects involved in sailing and a safety briefing about the yacht and the day ahead, during which tea and biscuits are served. We aim to set sail at about 10:00 and sail through the morning until we stop for lunch.

During this time you and your clients can chat on deck with a glass of Champagne, before enjoying a sea food luncheon, prepared by your host. Having enjoyed a restful lunch on a mooring or berth up a peaceful river; we shall then sail back during the afternoon putting into practise any sailing skills picked in the morning to the yacht's berth.

As corporate sailing events and corporate sailing yacht charter days take on many forms the boats are also available during race regattas such as Cowes week, Round the Island Race, Cork Week and the Little Britain Cup Challenge. If one yacht is not enough then mix and match with the Swan 38's as well as the Swan 48 Phantom.

Often companies like to experience the excitement and Team Building incurred in Yacht Racing events. In these events Acco and Cimaroon exhibit their full potential (due to their excellent Swan ratings), as often do her crew (you), in the Courtesy Beer Tents! For such events the yacht(s) will come with a fully qualified race skipper so to ensure the smooth running of the yacht and crew while you and your clients enjoy the excitement of racing one or both of the Swan 38's.

A CORPORATE DAY AT A RACING EVENT

Corporate sailing :- This has been the most popular theme to date. It enables you and your clients to see and be part of the racing without having to actually be in the event. Also because the yacht is not actually racing the popular sea food corporate luncheon with wine and champagne can be consumed at a leisurely rate during mid day before returning to watch more racing in the afternoon.

A TYPICAL CORPORATE DAY

Morning	Itinerary
09:30	Guests arrive at Swan Yacht Charter. Welcoming on board from the skippers and hosts/hostesses. Tea, coffee, orange juice.
09:45	Briefing on the day's programme. Safety procedures. The issuing of Safety equipment and waterproof clothing if the weather dictates.
10:00	Prepare the yachts (and ribs) for sea. Leave Marina. Morning of sailing and spectating a possible racing event.
12:45	Arrive at a picturesque Solent River, Bay or Harbour for a prepared luncheon. (Dependent on clients requirements)
Afternoon
14:00	Prepare the yacht for sea. Gentle sail back to marina enjoying the idealic setting that the Solent naturally provides.
17:00	Return to Swan Yacht Charter. Group photographs if requested.
17:30	Guests depart at their own leisure.
2 Day Events are also offered and arranged on request. We are happy to arrange accommodation for you if required.
